Melanie Simmons is a dynamic leader in the non-profit sector with over 15 years of fund development experience, combining her background as a former professional and college athlete with a passion for community impact. Her career has been marked by a commitment to advancing the missions of both local and national organizations.
Melanie has firsthand experience as an independent school development professional from her time as the Director of Development at Out-of-Door Academy, where she gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.
Most recently, she served as a Partner Success Manager at GiveCampus, working with over 80 independent schools nationwide to enhance and streamline their online giving programs. Her expertise in frontline fundraising and program optimization drives her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the communities she serves.
